5/25 • A new post on my blog talks about the legacy handed to Gen X from the Baby Boomers, and Black Sabbath.

5/6 • Inspired by the architecture of Spain, my new post on my blog explores the beauty of things dying, and later,
I tackle one of my favorite Bible quotes.

9/29 • Right now my blog has my latest custom type project on it, and it's not just a simple sketch like it usually is. This one I wanted to go ahead and finish. No particluar reason, although now that I'm finished I think I should maybe make
a t-shirt out of it. Or maybe build a font out of it. It has been a while since I made a new font and I miss it.

9/1 • The new post on my blog may be of interest, it's a step-by-step guide to making a book by hand, which I just did to make some neat little self-promo leave-behinds.

8/31• New page up for a simple, clean website I designed called RegalSpri.com. They have some pretty grand ideas and a lot of information to impart to a visitor, so I needed to keep it very clean, very elegant and easy to navigate.

7/22 • Signed up at a free stock photography website Photl.com. Their images are pretty standard but well done and there are almost no limitations on what you can use if you sign up and don't exceed 35MB of download a day. Not bad if you just need some simple stuff. I usually use FreeRangeStock or MorgueFile or PerfectPixelDigital for stock, although I really am in love with vector so I spend time browsing Vector4Free and 123FreeVectors when I need something.

7/1 • New website finally finished and it's been a informative experience. I’ll be using this space to post news, new jobs, inspiration and new techniques I may discover for illustration, logos design, printing, production or whatever else I want to share.

My first priority will always be my clients and their needs so I might not get to update as much as I’d like, but I’ll try to make sure there’s always something new at The Mat Planet.
